Treasure Island Wedding | Maggie & Cody

Treasure Island Wedding Photography We can't express how crazy we are about the pictures from this Treasure Island Wedding! It had been an unexpected sort of day. When I woke up that morning, drank a cup of coffee, and leisurely made my way into the office, it was just looking like any other Tuesday. A bit of editing, a bit of gardening, dinner with the husband... But life favors the flexible. When the phone rang and I found out that there was a Photographer in the area with an emergency, I dropped everything and got ready to help out. Maggie and Cody's wedding was just about 6 hours later, and although I was excited to step in, I had no idea at the time what an amazing session this was going to be!

The bride and groom were such a fun couple (with an adorable daughter,) the private seaside ceremony was lovely, and the sunset was AMAZING. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to capture this super sweet, laid back, and friendly couple! It was an intimate and lovely elopement ceremony, with just the bride and groom, and their 4 year old daughter, and the Florida sun, sand and waves for decorations. There was laughter, a few tears, and lots and lots of smiles when the officiant pronounced them husband and wife. As they sealed their vows, their daughter, Natalie, held both of their hands, an accurate picture of the many things that now bond this couple together.

This couple came all the way from Ohio for a beautiful Florida beach wedding, and let me tell you, Florida did not disappoint! The lighting was lovely from every direction, and the sunset was just breath taking. When it came to the posed photos Maggie and Cody were up for anything! From climbing on the rocks, to wading into the water, if I made a suggestion, they were on board, and the resulting pictures speak for themselves. This Treasure Island Wedding was amazing in oh so many ways, and I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to step in and celebrate with this awesome couple!
