Sarasota Wedding Photographer | Country Club Wedding
Melissa and John needed a Sarasota Wedding Photographer to capture their Country Club Wedding at The Lake Club, and when they found us, we were so thrilled to be able to work with them and capture all the magic of their wedding day! Sarasota has so many stunning wedding venues, and the Lake Club was the perfect place for them to make their vision come to life! Melissa's parents have a home at The Lake Club, which shows off one of the potential perks of a country club wedding: being able to get ready in the comfort of your own beautiful home, while still only being minutes from your venue! While the rest of the house was busy with comings and goings and preparations, Melissa sat sequestered in the quiet peace of her parents bedroom suite. Joined by her bridesmaids in their matching pj's, they shared mimosas, laughs, and memories as the bride began to prepare herself for all that was to come. Her mother joined her when it was time to get dressed, sharing sweet moments, and memories of helping her dress up on special occasions as a little girl. Helping to build memories during these moments, rather than just standing back and taking pictures, is often one of my favorite parts of a wedding day!
All dressed and beautiful in every detail from head to toe, Melissa was ready to join John in one of The Lake Club's beautiful gardens for a private first look. First looks are such a wonderful way to have a private and meaningful moment with your spouse-to-be with out the pressure of all those watching eyes, and BONUS, it gives you the opportunity to get some of your portraits out of the way before the wedding ceremony so that you can go join your guests sooner and get the party started! The Lake Club has endless opportunities and stunning settings to capture beautiful portraits, and even though we only had time to utilize a few of them, oh boy are they lovely!
The ceremony was set between the pool and the lake, framed by fountains and palm trees creating breathtaking views from the terrace of The Grande Clubhouse. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father as they walked together towards her future. The arch and flowers, set up by coordinator and wood flower Goddess, Cheyanne Weiss of Shy Chic Boutique, created the perfect setting for saying "I Do!" Then it was time for pictures with the bridal party before heading up to join friends and family at the Cocktail Hour.
The stunning reception at The Lake Club's Grande Clubhouse was stunningly coordinated by Shy Chic Boutique, who never misses a detail! For their Seating Chart, the bride and groom chose to use luggage tags , the perfect thank you with so many guests from out of town. The evening went just the way they'd always envisioned it. Toasts were made, merriment was had, and dancing was abundant. We're so glad that we could photograph this stunning, romantic wedding here in Sarasota.
