Bradenton Beach Engagement Photography | Andrew & Ashley

Love is certainly in the air, this Bradenton Beach Engagement Photography session was our second surprise proposal of the week. Andrew called me from Tennessee last week to ask if we were able to help him set up the perfect proposal for his amazing girlfriend Ashley. We made a plan, and I headed out to the beach before the session on Thursday to get into position. The storm clouds were rolling through the sky behind Anna Maria Island as they walked right past me while I pretended to be taking nature pictures. They made their way towards the ocean, and Ashley never even turned around as I stealthily stalked them down the beach. After 5 years together, Andrew still managed to completely surprise her with his proposal. She never saw it coming! As he knelt down on one knee, Ashley burst into tears as she said "Yes!", declaring herself over and over to be the luckiest girl in the whole world! As she gazed at her ring, saying how beautiful, how wonderful, how PERFECT it was, Andrew admitted to stalking her Pinterest page to make sure that he got exactly what she wanted. Smart move! The skies were stormy and threatening, but we never felt a drop of rain. As so often happens in Florida, the sunset was filled with colors, and changing to a completely different view every 10 minutes, as if it's telling this wonderful pair that the whole world was celebrating with them. We spent the next hour walking up and down the beach taking pictures for their Bradenton Beach Engagement Photography session, and neither one of them could manage to wipe the smiles off their faces the whole time. This kind of happiness is something that you just can't fake, and their joy became so infectious that I found myself giggling like a school girl in my excitement for them. This couple was so in love, so adorable, and so genuinely friendly, that Sandhill Photography may just have to try to talk them into a destination wedding so that we can get to capture their story again with some wedding photography!
